The AIS School Infirmary is staffed by a team of three qualified nurses, including an experienced Head Nurse who oversees all clinical and administrative operations. The nursing team is available throughout the school day and also provides dedicated support to the boarding house. A nurse accompanies all school trips to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students off campus.
The school maintains a partnership with Healthnet Medical Center, which offers additional medical support for cases that require care beyond first aid. All injuries and illnesses managed in the infirmary are documented, and parents receive a phone call and follow-up email before the end of the school day.
Parents of students with chronic medical conditions such as asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, or other long-term health needs are required to provide the school with the child’s medical history and a signed first-aid and emergency treatment consent form.
