Dr. (Professor) William Appiah Amponsah

Dr. (Professor) William Appiah Amponsah is a globally recognized economist, leadership consultant, advisor, trainer, facilitator, and certified executive leadership and business coach with over 30 years of experience advising governments, universities, and international businesses and organizations on economic development, trade strategy, entrepreneurship, and values-based leadership. He retired in 2023 after serving as a university professor of economics for 33 years. Dr. (Professor) Amponsah is known for combining analytical rigor with transformational coaching to elevate leaders and their teams, build organizational culture and capacity, and drive sustainable change and growth across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the United States. He has a long history of executive leadership, including as Panel Manager of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Research Initiative Grants Program (in Markets and Trade), and as editor of professional economics journals. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association International School, Accra, Ghana. He also serves on the Board of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF) and chaired the Board’s Committee for Speakers Acquisition, GEF 2025. Dr. (Professor) Amponsah is currently leading the Leadership and Mindset Transformation Initiative in Ghana, a project aimed principally to develop a disciplined, patriotic, and morally grounded youth and professional workforce, to promote civic responsibility and national service, and build a pipeline of ethical, transformational leaders who will contribute to the economic and social development of Ghana. I have participated in similar Country Transformation Initiatives in partnership with the Maxwell Leadership Foundation, using Leadership Values in Argentina, Panama, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, and Costa Rica. He is the Founder/President of Self Leadership Coaching International LLC and Transformation Ghana Leadership Initiative.

Dr Myles Christian Hagan

Dr. Myles Christian Hagan is a highly accomplished banking professional and digital transformation leader with over 17 years of experience driving innovation, operational excellence, and financial inclusion within the financial services sector. He possesses deep expertise across the banking value chain, including relationship management, banking operations, digital banking, payments, product development, e-commerce, collections, and remittance services. His career has been defined by a strong ability to integrate people, processes, data, and technology to deliver scalable business solutions in dynamic and evolving environments. Dr. Hagan has played a pivotal role in advancing digital channel adoption and payment innovations, contributing to improved customer experience, enhanced operational efficiency, and sustainable revenue growth. He is particularly recognized for designing and implementing forward-thinking digital strategies that align with emerging industry trends and regulatory expectations. Beyond execution, he is a strategic thinker with a passion for leadership development and capacity building. He has successfully built and led high-performing teams, driven digital marketing initiatives, and mentored emerging professionals, while also serving as a motivational speaker and thought leader. He is married to Mrs. Selorm Hagan and blessed with 3 children. He actively contributes to the broader financial ecosystem through his involvement in key industry and governance bodies, including Financial Inclusion Forum, Ghana Association of Bankers – Payments Systems Committee, Bank of Ghana – Standards & Technology Working Group, Modefin Product Advisory Council, FGBMFI Field Rep & Council Member, Accra Ridge Church. Dr. Hagan brings a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic insight, and leadership capability as Secretary on the Association International School Board of Trustees.

CASELY N. DORYUMU, P.E., SECB

Mr. Doryumu has over 45 years of experience in the management, design, and design supervision of structural engineering projects of varying sizes. As a Project Manager, his responsibilities included technical direction, maintenance of schedules, implementing policy decisions with respect to budgets and quality assurance control. His structural experience encompasses varying types of projects, which include highway bridges, dams, interchange structures, marine structures, and buildings of varying sizes. He has also been deeply involved in the seismic Isolation design in massive building structures and highway bridges. He also specialized in the seismic retrofitting of long span highway buildings. Mr. Doryumu was particularly part of the team that developed the eradi-quake system of bridge isolation bearings. He has participated in in-depth inspection, preparation of inspection reports, preparation of conceptual and preliminary studies, and preparation of preliminary and final design documents for numerous highway structures, including grade separations, waterway crossings and railroad bridges. As a Project Manager, Mr. Doryumu has coordinated work of staff with various agencies and organizations, some of which are the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Massachusetts Department of Transportation, New York State DOT, New York State Thruway Authority, New Jersey DOT, Pennsylvania DOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, New Jersey Highway Authority, New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Connecticut DOT, and various other organizations. As a structural engineer. He has extensive experience in the design, analysis, inspection and report preparation of bridge and highway structures, dams, marine structures, airports and buildings of varying sizes. He has participated in all phases of projects from initial concept through contract analysis. Mr. Casely N. Doryumu has a BSCE from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and a registered Professional Engineer in Multiple States in the U.S, some of which are Florida, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Joris Gerald Niilante Amissah

Niilante is a Biochemist / Food Scientist and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Ghana. His work focuses on applying food processing and packaging technologies to create innovative, value-added food products for both local and export markets. Through his work, he aims to reduce postharvest losses, extend shelf life, and enhance the quality and consumer appeal of locally produced foods. Prior to joining the University of Ghana, Niilante obtained his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Science and Technology (Kumasi) and Master of Science (MS) and PhD degrees in Food Science from Cornell University. He has been an AIS parent for eight years and served as Secretary of the AIS Parent Association (AISPA) Executive Council during the 2022/2023 Academic Year and as Chairman in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. He enjoys gardening and reading.

Dr. Vijay P. Kumar

Dr. Kumar is the founder and CEO of Spectrum Internet Service Limited, Accra, Ghana. Dr. Kumar founded Spectrum Internet Service Limited in 2021, while the world was still in the grip of the Covid crisis, to address the need for broadband Internet access for the educational and healthcare sector in Ghana and the African continent at large. Previously, he was Director of High Speed Networks Research at Bell Laboratories in New Jersey, U.S.A., where he conducted research in gigabit routing, fast-packet switching, network security, VLSI communication architectures, fault-tolerant networking, and VLSI yield enhancement -- technologies which were fundamental to the growth of the Internet. His team’s specific contributions included the first gigabit router in the industry capable of guaranteeing quality of service to multimedia traffic; the architecture, protocols and traffic engineering for MPLS, a protocol at the core of high speed networks forming the backbone of the Internet; Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) which is the standard protocol for phone calls over the Internet; and the high speed switching chipset ATLANTA, which helped build backbone networks capable of handling the exploding traffic on the Internet. Prior to founding Spectrum Internet, Dr. Kumar co-founded Dynamic Spectrum, LLC, which utilized cognitive radio and dynamic spectrum access for public safety communications. Dr. Kumar obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, in 1980 and M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, in 1982 and 1985, respectively. He is a Fellow of IEEE and a Bell Labs Fellow.
