AIS Christian Worldview

Our Foundation

AIS is founded on a firm foundation of Christian values and beliefs. However, we do respect other religions and beliefs. AIS encourages all students and staff members to recognize and be tolerant of each other’s views, religious beliefs, and practices.

We are an academically rigorous school that teaches critical thinking, respect for other cultures, and ideals of service. While students are not required to be Christian to attend, all participants honor daily devotions, services, and Christian holidays as part of our Christ-centered heritage.

Non-Denominational Christian Organization

AIS does not hold affiliation with nor receive funding from any specific Christian denomination. Our goal is to find common ground with all facets of Christianity, focusing on the core tenets of the Bible to create a spirit of unity, service, and transparency.

Statement of Faith

1

God is the creator of the world and of all humankind.

2

Each person is responsible to God for the stewardship of the world and of human life.

3

Separation through sin can only be healed through the reconciling work of Jesus Christ.

4

Pleasing God depends on our acceptance of Jesus Christ and being obedient to the Holy Spirit.

5

The full revelation of God’s will is found in the sixty-six books of the Bible.

🕊️
We Do Not Expect
  • Students to profess Christianity upon application.
  • Current students to be forced into decisions to become Christian.

🤝
We Do Expect
  • Respect for all others and their beliefs.
  • Attendance and respect during all Christian observances.
  • Active contribution to an atmosphere of peace and unity.

🌟
We Hope
  • Everyone feels loved, accepted, and welcome.
  • All come to know the love of God through Jesus Christ.
  • Everyone encourages each other to grow in faith.
  • All learn to live selflessly and serve others.

“Such decisions of faith should not be made out of undue influence, to please people, or to make a favorable impression. Academic preference is never given or withheld on the basis of professed faith or religion.
